MAJOR LEAGUE STONERS

While playing Destroyed Village last night, one of the players commented on how his "old eyes" didn't see well on foggy maps, and that he could "edit" a certain MOHAA file and eliminate the fog all together. A few other players seemed to know what he was talking about . . . Is this an acceptable mod, or is it considered a hack? (I recently had cataract surgery over the winter, I would LOVE to not have all the fog, lol)

That's what I thought and said as much at the time. So, if a guy is using the no fog hack, is it something you can see (or in this case, NOT see) if you spec the player?

There is or was (not sure if they even worked) player cmds that can remove fog from THEIR game that wouldnt be acceptable. What Sniper is talking about is not a "hack" it's serverside meaning everyone is affected, there is no advantage over other players .. IMO not seen as a hack. Just the same as the teleporter mod on MLS server everyone gets to "use" it. Sorry for any typos my "old eyes" are bad lol

If someone is using a nofog hack nobody would be able to tell unless they were screenshotted and of course said player sent the shots. But like I said if that player cmd even works, yes that would be considered an advantage over other players i myself would see that as a cheat.

I think this player was actually talking about editing his own files so that the fog wouldn't even load with any of the maps. However, I could be mistaken.

lol.. you didnt pick up on my old eyes comment, that was me in the server talking about having no fog on my game server not my personal game. Somebody else may have been talking about removing fog from their game, may have missed it.
