UWS Bender - Banned?

2.) Who banned me and why: While playing tonight, I was tested for a no recoil hack on Remagen (cool by the way, didn't know u could do that), and then I was banned one map later on the Bridge. So I knew I was in an admins sights all night and expected this. I was banned for being a wallhack. I don't know who banned me, but I assume it's GOA Lite cause I was killing him a lot on the Bridge. I saw him go to spec eventually and I could feel his presence lurking over my shoulder waiting to ban me. If it wasn't you that banned me Lite, my apologies.

3.) Reason for Unban: I've been playing this game since it came out and you all know me well enough to be a competent long long time player who doesn't and has never hacked in this game. Do you honestly believe after 20+ years of playing this game I would use a wallhack now? Clearly if you watch me play, you would see me checking corners, using sound, and constantly looking for players to shoot. I know every map and corner and angle by heart.

I can only guess at the motivations for the ban because I know I wasn't wall hacking, but I assume I was banned for murdering Lite so often. Sorry bud, it happens. I know it can be frustrating when someone kills you a lot, but it doesn't justify this ban dude. I'm an admin myself who gets seriously frustrated when the same person kills me a lot, but I'm not the type to beat a good player by banning him for made up wallhack charges. No offense, but if that's how you win against better opponents, that's pretty sad. After all this time playing this game I love, I still sometimes give in to frustration and anger over losing, so I understand the psychology of why you did it. But I would never, ever ban someone for being a better player. This game is very very old and banning good players certainly doesn't help keep MOHAA alive or keep you challenged as a player. Consider that the next time you let your anger override your better judgment.

So please unban me, it'd be nice to still play every now and then on MLS like I usually do. All MLS players are still very welcome to come play on the UWS freeze tag server, I'm not the vindictive type. Take care peeps and thank you all for listening!

Post acknowledged, request denied. I was the 1 who banned you. I watched you for a few maps and seen sufficient evidence that mark a wall hack. This isn't the 1st time you have been caught. So I am siding with the ruling of ban staying for now.

Bender, you seem to think that you are God's gift to all MOHAA players. You have commented many times while playing on the MLS server about how you are so good and making comments about other players' poor scores. You are absorbed with extreme arrogance, even in your request to be unbanned, it was nothing but smug arrogance. You need to eat a nice slice of humble pie and stay away from MLS. By the way, you aren't that good. You are the ultimate campers and MLS frowns upon campers because of players like you. You are no fun to play with. Imagine if everyone played the way you play, the game would be boring. You being banned should have happened decades ago.

Wow lil D, I guess you don't like me very much. Did I kill you too often? There I go being smug again...just can't help myself. If you expect me to beg or kiss butt or eat your humble pie as you put it.....naaah! I know I'm a great MOHAA player. Why is that so wrong to say?? 25 years I've been playing MOHAA and I got really great at it. Why is it wrong to say you're great at something? When you send out a resume or fill an app for a job, do you sell yourself short? Do you humble yourself and profess that you're just ok at doin stuff?

I'm great at a few things, good at some, mediocre at most. It's not a crime or smugness to say you're great at something. It's being confident, it's knowing what you're capable of and not being shy about admitting what you can or can't do well. I can be confident about what I'm great at and not be smug about it as you put it. You see what you want based on your own preconceptions of me. I don't blame you for being that way, you're only human and really don't know me as a person.

If I'm not that good as you put it D, and you've watched me play and think I camp too often, do you really think I wallhack? Given your vile opinion of me, I guess it doesn't really matter anyway what your answer is since from your comments you feel that anyone you don't like or anyone who camps should be banned. Talk about being smug...great standards you have there pal!

It's true, I do brag and yes, I do camp occasionally; last I heard both actions don't warrant a ban. So you can shit on my character if it makes you feel better and helps justify my ban in your eyes D, but you know very well that I don't hack. I noticed in all your hateful comments for me you never once said I hack. Will you eat a piece of your own humble pie and admit that much, that I don't hack, or simply not give a damn cause you don't like me and just want me banned?

Regarding your comments fire_storm, I don't wallhack. Never have! Never will! And if you're the final word on this and noone has anything else to say in my defense or there is no appeal process, well, then, it's been fun playing on the MLS server. Take care everybody and see you on the UWS or Misfits server.
